Salt Nail Art for Short nails.
Here’s a unique salt nail art which is easy to do yet very pretty! The texture created by this nail art is really good! If you dont wish to buy Sally hansans expensice sugar coat polishes you can try this technique of salt nail art for short nails.
I love the texture of this nail art
Things you need:
1. Purple Nail polish(I used MAYBELLINE FUSCHIA NAIL POLISH)
2. Salt
3.Nail polish remover
4.Cotton bud
5.Top coat (essential)
Step one: Apply a single coat of your purple nail polish on all nails and allow it to dry.
Step two: Apply the second coat on a single finger and sprinkle salt over it before it dries.( You have to do this on one finger at a time)
Repeat for all nails.
Step three: Apply top coat to seal the nail art.
Step four: Remove any excess polish with the help of a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.
Done!It’s so simple,right?
Important:
1. It’s very important to apply a top coat or else the salt will melt when you put your hand in water! A good quality top coat is encouraged.
2. Do not attempt this nail art if you have cuts on your fingers (It will burn a lot!!I repeat A LOT!!)
3.If you are not sure if you have cuts or not(Like in my case) apply Vaseline around your nails for protection.
4.If you have a habit of eating your cuticles you are likely to have cuts.
5.Try to sprinkle the salt evenly.
What other food items can you use for nail arts? 😛
